BEFORE YOU START

How can I design with AI?

Start with a photograph of the furnished room and describe the pieces, materials and colors you want. Virtual Staging AI Studio’s AI interior design tool creates a furniture-and-decor concept you can compare with the original. Review doors, windows, circulation and furniture scale before keeping it. The image is not a measured renovation or construction plan.

FURNITURE, RECONSIDERED

AI room design, grounded in your photograph.

AI interior design starts with a room you already have. An existing sofa, bed or dining set is not an obstacle: describe the new furniture direction and the editor is instructed to replace movable pieces while keeping the room’s permanent features as the reference.

Name the pieces, their scale and a small material palette. A compact ivory sofa and walnut table give the editor more direction than “make it luxurious.” Ask to keep the existing floor and wall colors if those are important. There is no measured furniture catalog, so a convincing image is still a concept rather than proof that a particular sofa will fit.

CHECK THE SAME VIEW

Review the layout before choosing the look.

Look at door swings, walking routes, window openings and built-in storage first. Then check furniture size, contact shadows, reflections and the edges of rugs. AI room design can drift from the original even when asked to preserve it. If a layout blocks a doorway or invents a feature, change the direction and review a new edit instead of publishing it as fact.

A visual furniture concept, not a measured renovation plan. AI can alter details; check doors, windows and room proportions against your original.

LOOK PAST THE FIRST IMPRESSION

Review the small details at a useful size.

A thumbnail can hide distorted edges, repeated textures and inconsistent shadows. Open the result at a useful size and compare the same area with your original. A local detail may look plausible while a permanent feature elsewhere has changed; inspect the complete image too.

A furnished room is a different starting point.

Use this tool for restyling an existing interior. For an empty property, choose empty room staging; to remove furnishings without adding new ones, choose furniture removal. These tools share your image credits, but the instructions and examples match different jobs. For a listing, retain the original and follow your platform’s disclosure rules. They do not provide structural engineering, construction drawings, material quantities or renovation quotes.

01

Bring a clear photo.

Choose one JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB and 32 megapixels. Your browser prepares the image before uploading. Use a photo you have permission to edit and remove private documents from view.

02

Describe the change.

Choose a starting direction or write your own. Presets fill the editable prompt; they are not separate models or fixed templates. Submit once and keep the same request if your connection drops.

03

Compare and keep.

Accepted edits run in the background. Compare the original on the left with the result on the right, inspect permanent details and download the PNG. Reopening a stored result does not spend another credit.

One delivered image uses one image credit, with your daily free image used first. A confirmed failure returns the reserved credit; a connection interruption is not a confirmed failure. Processing includes image preparation, safety checks, provider editing and private result storage, so the full wait varies. Your account’s History lists stored requests and available results. Compare plans and credit packs.

AI Interior Design: questions before you start.

Can I use AI interior design with a furnished room?

Yes. Upload a photo showing the current furniture, then describe the pieces and style you want instead. The instruction asks the model to replace movable furniture and decor while preserving permanent features. Review the entire room because this is not a pixel-locked editing system.

How is AI room design different from empty room staging?

AI room design can replace furnishings that are already present. Empty room staging begins with an unfurnished photo and adds furniture. Furniture removal clears movable objects without replacing them. Choose the tool that matches your source photo rather than expecting one preset to do all three jobs.

Can an AI remodel tool create a construction plan?

No. This AI room redesign tool produces a furniture and decor concept from one photograph. A virtual renovation preview is not a construction plan. It does not measure a property, verify building regulations, move walls reliably or prepare contractor drawings. Consult the appropriate professional before making physical changes.

Can I choose exact products or keep the same design across several photos?

You can describe materials, colors and furniture types, but there is no product catalog or exact SKU matching. Photos are edited independently, so matching furniture across different angles is not guaranteed. Keep original photos and compare each result.

What kind of photograph should I upload?

Use a sharp, ordinary camera photo showing the surfaces you want to edit. JPG, PNG and WebP are supported up to 10 MB and 32 megapixels; the browser prepares a smaller working image before sending it. Strong motion blur, extreme wide-angle distortion and partly hidden areas make the result harder to judge. A higher pixel count alone does not guarantee a more accurate edit.

Are my uploads used as public examples?

Uploads and results are private to your signed-in account or the browser used for your guest trial; they are not added to a public gallery. The images on this page are separate illustrative examples. An accepted task is processed by our configured AI provider and saved for private readback and download. Use photos you have permission to edit and avoid including personal documents or other sensitive information. See the privacy policy for processing details.

Is there a free image, and is it watermarked?

Try one image as a guest after verification. The guest trial is limited to one image per browser. A maximum of one new guest per IP or network can start a trial each UTC day. Sign in with Google to claim one image per UTC day across the room-editing tools; it expires at 00:00 UTC and does not roll over. There is no additional signup bonus. Free and paid downloads have no watermark.

What happens if I leave the page or the edit fails?

Accepted requests continue in the background. Return in the same browser with its site data intact, or use the same signed-in account, to recover the latest task within six hours. The applicable credits are reserved; a delivered image uses them and a confirmed failure returns them. Do not resubmit a request just because the connection drops.
